The Contextualized Cohort Network is designed to create meaningful, ongoing connections among pastors and ministry leaders serving in similar ministry contexts. What began as small, high-impact gatherings at Annual Conference, where leaders connected with others who truly understand their unique roles, has grown into a year-round opportunity for relationships, encouragement, and growth. These cohorts are intentionally formed to bring together leaders such as worship pastors, executive pastors, solo pastors, and others, fostering environments where shared experiences lead to deeper insight, practical support, and lasting connection.
Launching this May, cohorts will meet every other month via Zoom and are led by trained facilitators who guide conversations focused on connection, networking, equipping, and personal and professional development. Each session is simple and accessible: participants receive a short video primer ahead of time introducing the topic and reflection questions, then gather online to engage in meaningful discussion with their cohort.
Credentialed leaders within the Western Conference are automatically placed into a cohort and will receive communication with their group details. For those not currently credentialed but actively serving in ministry, there is an open invitation to connect—whether personally or by referring a friend who could benefit. The goal is to ensure that every pastor and ministry leader has access to the kind of relational support that strengthens leadership, sustains calling, and impacts ministry for the long term.
